Hi, my name is Christina
I just recently registered here at bronx bombers.
I would like to learn more about the Yankees now that my boyfriend has me watching all the games and learning all the players names and numbers, I thought it would be cool to talk about them to that way I would actually know what I was talking about.
So anyone care to help me out don't be shy. thanks

What would you like to know? The best way to learn is to get to a game.
Where are you from in NH? My uncle lives right outside Nashua.
The one thing that someone from that area needs to know is that Yankee fans HATE Red Sox fans, and vice versa ;)

Good to see your gf here. Now you have to behave better (only kidding of course).
Christina, have Butnud buy you the 2001 Yankee media guide and read that. A little at a time and you will quickly get the basics of the game. Then go to a game, HS, College, Minors or Major . Have some peanuts and a pepsi and don't forget to stand up in the home half of the seventh inning. Welcome aboard.Enjoy the ride.

Okay so I have been to a game before..... and it was for school, but if I told ya all what game I went to you would all hate me for sure, but just remember it wasn't my choice to go I had to he he:)........ And yes I have only been to one game. :( I love the sport and I never had a favorite team.. but now I feel it is time to root for a certain team and well I chose the yankees.
I pretty much know some of the basics of baseball I mean I played softball, yes I know not the same. But still, anyway..... Thanks for all the replies.... And hey I would love to go to a game..... woohooooooo.......

I did install mirc, that is what butnud told me to do so I did and it still doesn't work:( I wish it would he he:)..
It really stinks too because a couple of the channels that the games are on I don't get, so there for I can't watch them:(
I am sure everyone will let me know what happens though.... Anyway gots to get going to work:) :) :) :) fun fun fun, talk later

Well I was listening to the radio this morning and a girl came on and was talking about how her and her boyfriend got in a fight and she asked him to leave and he wouldn't until he got his YANKEES/RED SOX tickets and he wouldn't listen so she took them and she ripped them up in front of him. Can you believe that he actually stayed with her after that. How mean can ya be.
Anyway the radio I was listening too is giving away tickets for saturdays game all week. I wish I could listen more often and try to win but I work. then I would give the tickets to people who could actually go

About that wacko tearing up the tickets...that's grounds for serious pain in my book! Unbelievable. Some people...I mean, that's like drinking kool-aid out of the Holy Grail!!! Sacrilege!
