from THT:

"The A-Rod deal: Of course, those two deals were also about money, and this deal was the ultimate money deal. But remember how some writers stated that the Rangers may have come out even, talent-wise? These numbers should stop that daftiness: A-Rod has 20 WS, 7 WSAA and Soriano has 12 and -1."

A-Rod also leads in the "F-bombs caught on camera" department.

But seriously, I didn't realize the margin is that wide between the two.

Wow, I didn't realize Sori was that horrible in WSAA's. There's really that many better players to be put in his situations?

Yep, the trade worked out very well for us. I can't believe Sori's win shares are so low though.

As a Ranger fan, I believe that its worked out very well for both teams. Both got exactly what they wanted.

A-Rod is having a great season and is carrying the Yankees to another AL East title, while Soriano is having a decent season while helping the Rangers back into the AL West/Wild Card race. In the end, there's a good chance that Soriano gets traded away for some pitching, which makes it even sweeter for the Rangers. Not to mention the fact that Joaquin Arias has become one of the top prospects in the Ranger organization (.301, 3, 38, 28 SB at Stockton this year).

So essentially, Arod has been responsible for 6+ wins and Sori has been responsible for 4 wins?
