It's not unreasonable - he needs a breather to regroup and start playing like himself.
Does anyone here think that this is the real Nomar? I hope not. There's another shortstop who comes to mind who struggled early this season.
Darn ... I LOVED the way Nomar was playing in the field this series! :o

Wow, how the mighty have fallen. Nomar being "rested" for a Red Sox/Yankee game. I wonder how he is taking this? Not good I bet. The guy is such a competitor. He shouldn't have the Boston media/fans/organization pressure him into coming back before he was fully ready. I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Sox trade Nomar this season.

Nice... I like this b/c it takes Nomar's bat out of the lineup(he hit a couple liners yesterday that were caught) AND I finally get to see Youklis, the Greek God of Walks(as named in Moneyball).. I want to see what Beane was getting all hot and bothered about..
