I am a die hard yankee fan but i also appreciate Tino & all he did as a yankee & regardless if hes in pinstripes or not it's a huge accomplishment & it is my decision to offer him congrats , i didn't ask anyone else.

Will this Tino stuff ever end? It is all quite amusing.

Almost as if......

"I like the yankees, but I like Tino too unless his team plays my team and he does good and my team loses by a lot than it is ok, but if they lose by a little than I still like him, but not as much and I would not like him at all (well maybe still a little) if he caused my team to lose all by himself but if he did good and my team did good than I am really the happiest because it is a win-win situation for everyone (excapt for Tino's team of course) which might make Tino a little sad and want to like him even more, etc, etc, etc....."

I like Tino. I really do. I always have, and I will continue to like him as a person and as a player. Except 19 or 20 times (whatever it is) this year. For those games, I want him going 0 for 5 with 5 Ks (or DPs). Hits, home runs, etc, against the Yankees bring me NO happiness whatsoever, regardless of the situation or who the player is.

It's all about the pinstripes for me. Like I said, still like Tino, but it's all about the YANKEES.

Now, that being said, I have no problem with people supporting Tino, even against the Yankees. You have a right to be whatever kind of fan you want to be. It's just that for me personally, any opposing player having success against the Yankees doesn't sit well with me.

Tino will always be a Yankee. He was the heart of those WS teams. Guys like him, Jeter, Posada, Williams, Scott B, Paul O'Neil.
