Long time Yankees fan, I watched Mantle and Maris play as a kid, a little kid, mind you.

But didn't really start getting excited about them until gritty Thurmond Munson and his gang.

Now I've infected my kids with Yankee enthusiasm. Just love to hear them ask what's going on with Soriano, or who's this guy todd Williams. Love it.
