Meanwhile with all the attention being focused on San Diego, Philadelphia replaces the gawdawful Vet. At first glance, it looks a lot like Cleveland.

I love the Jake in Cleveland. Looks to be an amazing ballpark. Hope the Philly fans enjoy it.

after the Vet, how could they NOT

With the Vet closing you only have a few really bad parks left

Shea, Montreal, Minnesota, and Miami are the 4 worse

however special consideration needs to be given to Tropicana Field in St Pete

Looks like a great park. If someone thinks it's "just another HOK stadium" then they should really read the links above.

Looks like their new park will look very nice as well. Is Philly and SD the only teams getting a new ballpark this year? Who's next on the new ballpark list?

Is there anybody else that really needs one...

The teams with fairly new parks (best I can figure) are:
Baltimore, Atlanta, Philly, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Texas, Houston, Frisco, San Diego, Seattle, Millwaukee, Arizona... who else - I know there are more.

Who REALLY needs one. There aren't too many hell holes left.
