uh, i picked the terps to beat the gators in the championship.... but i wouldn't be surprised if iowa state ends up in the finals...
anyways re: md, they look good, i know they always look good, but i think this seas, they showed me something w/ those duke games... i think the way they played duke, they can compete with and beat any team in the country...

i feel like i'm the only one on the planet that still believes in these guys... i went into a barbershop in dc yesterday and told the barber my picks and the entire barbershop broke into laughter... one guy there said gonzaga would go further than the terps... i know they've blown more chances than anyone having the most tournament appearances w/out a finla four, (or is it w/out a final 16), but c'mon man, it's not like they're CURSED or something... am i the only optimistic terp supporter out here? believe me, this is the terps year... or maybe i've been hanging around the red sux forums too much

I don't know, everyone is picking the Terps, maybe I am wrong. They are certainly the "sexy" pick nationally. Even Vitale picked them. When Dickie V. is on your side, all must be good!
I, however, remain skeptical...........

History is not on their side. Gary Williams, I don't think, can win the big one.
As far as Gonzaga, thats an even bigger trap! The 2 guys who made all the noise for them in the last 2 years are graduated. They're a sound mid-conference team, but can't stack up w/ the big boys of the ACC. Go UVA!
Well, Hofstra looked good for the first half then the "curse of Danmel" kicked in! Oh well! It really is a miracle that the Yanks have been so good since I root for them!

I was kidding, Jack-my presence doesn't seem to have a negative effect on the Yanks, at least! The Isalnders seem to do just as poorly without me as they do with me, so maybe it's just lingering psychological damage inflicted upon me by my older brother who used to blame me for every sports (and other) calamity, when we were kids!

This tourney's been so hard to predict... I had Temple and USC going down in the first round, and they're both still in it!
Duke should win it all over Arizona. The other Final 4 teams will be Maryland and Temple (because I've seen enough of Stanford and Michigan State).
