What do you think? Was this a smart move?

How old is he and how well did he do? I only remember him being 5-9 3/4, that Hail Mary w/Beantown U, then the USFL thing and teams' reluctance to work w/someone so short.

He's now over 40 and stinking it up with the Chargers who could have had Aikman at the time they signed Flutie. Thank God that didn't happen though. Darn it... TROY COME BACK!!!

Not really Flutie's fault the Chargers suck though, cuz Brees is worse. He was signed to 6 years, so I believe he has 3 left. He was doing really well in Buffalo, but was screwed royally with that whole situation though, especially when you consider the gigantic flop Rob Johnson has become. Johnson was 4th QB for the 2003 Raiders (I mean, seriously), while Buffalo has put all its eggs in the declining Drew Bledsoe basket (a little too early to give up on that one just yet).

On a lighter note, Flutie did win Monday Night Football's Monday Night at the Mic competition playing drums with Barenaked Ladies (I personally voted for Harrington though.)
