It is really hard to pick a favortie anything. I've got a least 5 favorites for every category. Anyone else have this problem?

whenever anyone asks me who my favorite yankee is, ill say, tino, hes great. but i love derek too, and david cone, hes my favorite, but you gotta love paul o'neills competitiveness, and bernie is the best centerfielder in baseball. mo is so good hes not even human....and the list goes on. so id have to say, no, i cant just pick one yankee!! http://www.Bronx-Bombers.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well, yeah those guys are great, BUT I was also thinking more along the lines of the "old timers" or "legends". http://www.Bronx-Bombers.com/ubb/wink.gif In every generstion it is hard to pick a favorite.

Oh boy, of all time, that is just impossible....much harder than present- day yankee favorite. with a team that has so much history and great ballplayers, as well as respectable people, when i get asked that question it kinda goes like this, "Well the Babe made baseball, but Gehrig was such a great all around team player. Joe D made everything look easy (contrary to the way griffey plays center field), and I grew up idolizing donnie baseball...theres just SO MANY!" Yogi, Whitey, Maris, even the rest of murderers row (lazzeri, combs, meusal)there is no way of saying who is the best or who is the favorite.

But I can say this, UpstateYankee, I truly believe that if the Mick had played even one full season without any injuries, he would have exceeded all of them. What do you think?
