Anyone else out there follow tennis? I enjoy watching it and playing it. Venus Williams lost in 2 sets today in some tournament she's in. Did anyone else see the Simpsons when the Williams, Agassi, and Sampras were on there? Hilarious!

Yeah i do - i live at Wimbledon 2 weeks of the year. I've seen most of the star players several times. My favourite is Mark Philippoussis because I met him and he was so stunning plus he has a killer serve and cross court forehand. I play loads of tennis too. Are you Pinstripped Princess from the Yankees.com forum?? I've seen you on there loads.

Tennis is one sport I would rather play than watch. Golf is in that category also except I can't play that game worth a dame. I have to add fishing to that also. I love the activity but can't watch anyone else doing it.

Stock car racing is one I'd rather watch. I love cars and speed but I could never drive at those speeds.

I simply love watching soccer. The pros have skills that are beyond even my dreams. I still fool around with it with my grand kids.

Oh I think I got off the subject.

Yeah I would rather play most than watch them. Except I would rather watch baseketball than play it. I don't think racing is necessarily a sport.

Andy'sPrincess,

you had to grow up drag racing cars on RT 22 in Union (or some similar place) and hanging out at the carhops that were an ubiquitous fixture in the 50's to develop a love affair with cars that serves as an attraction to racing.

If you ever get a chance go to some school at a major track, such as Pocono raceway. Organizations like the Richard Petty Racing team for a fee will teach you the basics and have you going around the track at speeds of 125-150. After that you will be hooked for life.

Sorry if I don't get the concept that driving a car around in a circle is a exhilarating experience.

I like tennis too. I haven't watched it as much as I used to because most of the time now I watch baseball games on television. My favorite players are Mark Philippoussis and Steffi Graf.

Tennis was great to watch. . . until it committed suicide. The powers to be decided to sterilize the sport and now all you have are drones. Becker, McEnroe, Connors and the rest of the crew, for all their bad behavior, were much more fun to watch than todays drones. The only player who is remotely entertaining today is Agassi. The womens game is much more interesting, the Williams sisters are the villians, but it is fun to root for or against them.
