If this team is the Yankees of soccer, why then would they not have just put the $25M pounds towards Ronaldino and kept Beckham as well? I admit that I know nothing about soccer, but selling a player for cash does not sound like a Yankee esque move.

I'd heard about this on YES yesterday. They'd said that while Beckham was known for his flashy lifestyle and awesome moves, he wasn't necessarily the best player. Is Ronaldino considered a better player?
