Man, coney, that was some tough pitching for ya. Can't say i'm really sad about it, but i empathize.
Radke ................s the bed, Lackey gets hit hard, and FrannyRod takes it like Marcelles Wallace from Pulp Fiction..
U.G.L.Y. ugly..
Luckily your offense was able to keep you in the red for the day..

I just thought i'd put the daily totals in here, to help us track it from day to day. I know that last year we lost track easily because of bye-weeks, so i figured this could only help keep people informed.

Sorry guys, teaches me not to rely on Yahoo sportstracker for the final points, as it seems to be off by hundredths off the ones posted in the league page. That and my calculator skills, especially with a hothead. :p But the scores have been revised. Thanks for the heads-up, Boz. :)

Well, since we dont have bye-weeks this year, I think it's easier just to post that day's score followed by the cumulative score after the previous week, instead of posting the cumulative score after every single day. That way people can just figure out what the score is, and it's less work for me. :D

wow, out of 9 games, there are 4 that are already 50 or more points out of it.
I realize that those games ain't over, and those teams could come back..
I just thought this league would be a little more even, and competative..

I think things will tighten up over the next couple of days. If you had two aces on your staff who went on Monday and Saturday, they might not be pitching again until today or tomorrow.

Wow, thanks Boz. Although it appears I lost again, there were really some classic games this week, especially the Naughties/Senators game. If the Naughties pitchers had pitched one more inning or if the hitters had gotten one more single (or 2 more walks) they would have won. That's what I call a close game. Also, the Lous/Mendoza game wasn't far behind. As for the Bombers/Saxmania game, Sax could have came back if only one of his guys had driven in 100 runs yesterday...actually...that might have not done it. ;) I move to 0-2 as the Tigers of this league

Yep, your math matches mine. And if mine is correct, I defeated Fishing w/Mendoza 239.17-237.00, despite an 0-2 mark by Matt Morris and Pedro Martinez.
The Lous' give full credit for their win to Chris Hammond, without whom, Jeff Weaver gets a win, and the Larrupin' Lous get another close loss.

Evil Empire 258.84
Dawgs from Easton 233.17
New York Squeaks 225.67
The Naked Truth 249.84
Not that it changes who won or lost. ;)
Three teams: Italian Ice, Junior's Bashers and Senators came back after trailing heading into Saturday's action.

Can someone please explain to me how Italian Ice possibly beat me this wk, when he is 2nd to last place, and I'm in the top 5th. I know I am new here, but something doesn't add up.
Heading into this week, The 4 Horsemen had 271.38 points, while Italian Ice had 156.33
This week, the Horsemen scored 221.12 points, while Ice had 234.84. So your high ranking is mostly attributed to your Week 1 score, not what you did this week. In fact, this week, you had the 4th WORST score of the week. Add up now?
