Where are all the pretty girls in the stands in Edison Field? Southern California does have pretty girls, but I've yet to see one on the television broadcast. What's up with that?

For some reason, I thought the camera was supposed to focus on the game, not the fans in attendance. Perhaps some lady will ask where are all the guys from Muscle Beach, this this is an all Cali WS.

Man, all I want is a well-played games, let the cuteness of the fans (which I can worry about afterwards) be damned!!!

although i think the looks of the fans in the stands is a non issue, it's no more a non issue than a lot of other threads... monkeys and fair weather fans and bonds is an ass threads...

i think this thread is as deserving as those... where are all the hot chics?

I spotted quite a few nice lookers in the crowd. Of course, just about any female looks better after FOX has been overdosing us with camera shots of big surly looking loser Bonds!!! Loser, loser, loser, loser, loser!

Oh sorry .... I just got carried away. Sorry.

Barry Bonds is a loser!!! A big-time loser!

lol, maybe they didn't get tickets! :D although there was one cute girl right behind the Kennedy and Jeannie during the pre-game for game 7 --did you get to see her? :D now that chick with the dumb ponytails who was beating Reggie Sanders with the thundersticks was not attractive! :D they should have not let her in for that alone! I'm glad she got kicked out! :D

ps -- this doesn't sound sexist at all -- looking for hot chicks on tv and noticing there weren't many-- what would have been sexist is if you said, there must not be any because there aren't enough good looking players for the hot chicks to come root on! :D now THAT would have been sexist! ;)

Obviously, you did not see the pre-game segments before the games...there were more blondes behind the anchors than at a bleach convention.

Speaking of sexist, I'm starting a movement to change the term "broadcasting" to "chickcasting". You think it'll fly?

Petezs Works for me, Pete. I may as well add my sexist remarks. I don't like women chickcasting mens sports. It's not that they're not competent either; it's just because I want to hear a man's voice while I'm watching professional mens sports. The PA announcer in S.F. made me sick. There's something to be said about the gruffness of a John Madden calling a football game...it adds to the fun. To replace these types of voices with a feminine twist detracts from the entertainment. From the little I've seen in Monster Truck and Pro Wrestling entertainment (:barf: and :barf: ), bad/nasty mens voices are part of its success. Likewise, I don't like men broadcasting the LPGA or womens figureskating, and usually they don't.

If we're going to get into that, let me also address this:

Female reporters are allowed in men's locker rooms, but male reporters are not allowed in women's locker rooms.

How is that fair?

Either the opposite sex isn't allowed in the locker room, or everyone is allowed in everyone's locker room.

Or better yet, give the players the locker room, and have ALL reporters wait outside.

i've wondered about this for awhile now... nobody has ever come up with anything remotely close to a reasonable answer... i think the reason is because there is none...

I couldn't get tickets, either.

Seriously though, I've never noticed cameras on pretty women at baseball games. That happens in basketball and football but baseball is too family and child oriented.

I'd vote for "all reporters wait outside" too.
