I'm not sure what's worse.. having a guy on your lineup giving you minimal production, or having a guy pitch an 8 inning 3 hit shutout with 8Ks, and finding out he was on your bench :)

Sitting on my bench at the moment in our NYYFans.com Fantasy League. Hey, either him or J.D. Drew are available in a package with Livian Hernandez, Tim Redding, or Kenny Rogers for a #1 starter. Anyone that stupid? ;)

I don't want the guy dead yet but he's now batting ninth in my punchless effin' offense. 0 for his last 17 and he's hit only four homers since April 27th.

Jermaine Dye is hitting .050 in six games since returning from the DL.

The time off didn't help Dye end the slump in which he began the season. Since coming back, his average has dropped from .189 to .160. Dye owners (or those looking to acquire him) should keep two numbers in mind -- 18 and 53. Those are the numbers of homers and RBI that Dye had after the All-Star break in 2002.
