It appears to me that Cypress Fall High school in Houston either has great pitchers or the teams they play can't hit. Chis Everts looks like a Roger Clemens.

Kazmir will be long gone ,hes projected as the 4th pick in this years draft.I want the Yanks to draft 7"1 Ryan Doughrity from Toms River High NJ.He might be there at #71 and has more up side then any player in the draft.

The Yanks track record of drafting impact HS players is very good, but their record on signing them is very poor. The Yanks have one pick in the first 3 rounds, and they can't afford to blow it. I stongly suspect they draft a college player who falls for signability issues (eg a Boras client).

The Yanks have some decent latin amrs and middle infielders and some young HS draftees from last year to plug in, but no real power hitters (outside of Ramistella) and nothing on the left side of the inf coming forward. I think a falling college 3B, or corner power OF could be the pick.

Richard you are so right about the Yankee's draft record ,but after seeing this guy pitch his up side is huge.Goerge can sign him if he wants to .I don't like to compare but I see this guy as another Randy Johnson ,He's right on top of the hitter and has pretty good command .You are right about the Yanks going after a college player but after following baseball for years at the minor and amature level I really think this guy is really worth the chance.
