For all of you who have never been to the Hall of Fame - go. Go as soon as you can. You haven't experienced being a baseball fan until you go to the Hall of Fame and relive your favorite baseball memories. One of my favorites was an exhibit on the Yanks of the late 70s - the teams who brought me to the Bronx. Plus, the Hall is CHOCK FULL of Yankees. And the shopping - if you are a baseball collector, you'll find EVERYTHING you could ever want. For example, I have searched for a 1978 Yankees team card for YEARS. I found one in Cooperstown for $2. Lots of cute little bed and breakfasts for a little romance and a couple of good restaurants. It's a great trip for kids and adults alike. I went with my husband, my mom, dad and little brother. It was my dad's first time (he's in his 50s) and that made it a pretty cool experience b/c he had a million stories to tell of Yankee teams of yesteryear. Go-go-go to the Hall of Fame. I absolutely loved it!

I know what you mean about the Hall, it is one of the greatest places on earth if you love baseball. I went about 10 years ago and the Yankees 70's section was also my favorite, I lived it in the 70's and I lived it again at the Hall. Everybody should somehow find a way to go there.

Now that I think about it, I think it's about time I go again. I only live about 4-5 hours away, so I really don't have an excuse not to go. I think it's time to start planning a road trip. Thanks for the idea :):):)
