It's probably better if only owners vote instead of anyone who wanders into the forum, and once we get up to around 20 votes, we'll take a look at the results. Thanks to everyone who made suggestions in the other thread - I was worried we wouldn't be able to come up with anything . . .

Even though I don't have the money to be in the fantasy league, I'll help out in doing the division names. The managers seem to be the way to go.:)

I'd also vote for a division called "Murderer's Row" or any other nickname for a special Yankee-time..

Well, a little. I think we've already settled on "Dynasty" as a league name, so having it as a division title too might make things a little confusing.

Perhaps, but if Phil's team does real well, he could be called the dynasty of the dynasty in the dynasty.

Well, it's official - players win. We'll have Ruth and Gehrig in one league, and DiMaggio and Mantle in another (boy, I'll bet they'd love that! But then, the whole idea is competition between the divisions, isn't it?). Anyone want to decide which league gets which names?

okay, how is this poll closed before I could vote? :D Dang!! :D Does't matter to this fantasy virgin anyway -- I have too many other things to worry about like understanding the rules!! :D ;)

Sorry, b-ball - but if it's any consolation, "names" had a 2-vote lead, so your vote wouldn't have revolutionized the tote-board. ;)

There's a fairly good FAQ on the Yahoo.com site about fantasy baseball, but if you have any questions, when everyone's signed up, I'll do a recap of all the rules before we start drafting. (I'm quitting my job on Friday, so I've got time to spare.)
