You ever watch Jeoprady and get Final Jeoprady wrong but the contestant gives the same wrong answer as you and you feel pretty good about it?

That's how I feel.

Well, that's not exactly the case here...it would be more like, if Alex told the contestant he/she was wrong, and then it turned out you were both right!! :D Sorry about that...this dang book is wrong apparently!! :o

Forgive me guys...you and Gehrig are right!! My book missed the Cuyler one... sorry! :(

Alex Trebek is a jerkoff, you're allright.

Who says books make you smarter?

No offense, Gehrig, but unless you have a mind for memorizing the number of innings each pitcher pitches in the World Series, that's not fair! No outside sources!!!! (But if you DID happen to recall that from memory, you have my utmost admiration and my profuse apology....)

Ugh, Babe Ruth.... why did I miss that one!

Actually I knew Babe Ruth had the lowest ERA for the AL. But I didn't know the Nat'l League pitcher and I find it hard to believe nobody else uses ref material...

Bobby Brown

actually, Chris you're right in a sense, even though that wasn't the answer I was looking for...

Bobby Brown actually hit .439 over 17 World Series Games...as you said in your PM, Pepper Martin was the other batter who hit .418...

I'm going to throw this dang book in the trash -- two questions wrong? ugh...I'm not good at being wrong -- I'm a perfectionist, and I hate eating crow!! It tastes awful!! :D I'm sorry -- you were right... :D

And I'm sorry to everyone else for posting two incorrect questions.....ugh! :( but it shows how smart the people are on this board anyway...

by the way, there's still one question open...# 3...should I give hints? Maybe I'll wait a bit...Where's Nome? Koko? Ken Monte? SanFransky? :D
