Making a Comeback

Hello to everyone. I'm not exactly new but I haven't posted here in a l o n g time and I thought it was time to start again. Just to remind people of who I am, my real name is Bethany and I am from Vermont. Like almost everyone else here I LOVE the Yankees. My favorite player is Paul O'Neill. People often wonder what a Yankee fan is doing in Vermont, and they think I am a bandwagon fan. I can assure you I am not. My family is full of longtime Yankee supporters, and I get my love for the pinstripes from them. You could say it was inherited.
Anyway, I hope to start posting more often and to get to know people again.

Welcome! I know how you feel, I grew up in West Virginia and I get the same thing . . . "Oh, you're a Yankee fan, are you from New York?", or "West Virginia, how did you become a Yankee fan? Shouldn't you be a Pirates or Orioles fan?"

Anyway, welcome back (I wasn't here when you were before but welcome back anyway).

Thanks Guys! (and gals). How about Derek Jeter in the post season? His defense is amazing-- which reminds me of one other fact which I forgot to mention -- My liscence plate on my car says JETER. I'm not an obsessed 12 year old female, (I'm not even a 12 year old) but just a really big fan of his all around play. O'Neill will always be my favorite Yankee though. Sorry I didn't reply sooner, I'm bad about that. I got my lisence place by going to the DMV. You have to fill out an application to get a
custom (vanity) plater, and pay about $20 extra for your registration. In order to get the name/saying you want you just have to hope no one else has taken it yet.
