Question: which was the greatest NYY WS team?

Some have said 1927, 1961, 1978 and 1998. Which ones were the best and why?

Here are the top teams in my book as they played in different times...

1927 (I still think they're the greatest ever)
1939 (4 in a row)
1949-53 (5 in a row...gotta be great)
1961 (mini dynasty)
1978 (finally...another series win LOL)
1998 (A new dynasty's great legacy and in MY TIME !!)

As to why...I don't have that much time right now ... LOL

I'll probably take '78, since we crushed the Sox' heart. I'll even take Mookie in '86, since he did the same.
