Here are some various photos of Highlanders and Yankees I finished scanning...

First one is at NY's Hilltop Park, 1910 - Right-Hander Tom Hughes loosens up alongside outfielder Harry Wolter...

Highlanders on the front porch of their hotel at Hot Springs Arkansas for Spring Training in 1907...

Front Row: ? , Lou Kleinow (C), Bill Dahlen (SS NY Giants - visiting), Kid Elberfield (SS), Bill Hogg (P), ? , Jack Chesbro (P)

Above Chesbro is Wee Willie Keeler, Next to him is MGR Clark Griffith. Right next to Grifith is Branch Rickey. Next to Rickey is Sam Crane ( Sportswriter), ? , Next to Unkown is Jake Stahl (1B)

All others are also unkown...

Miller Huggins is caught in this photo as a St Louis Cardinal in 1910...Popping up from the looks of it...Look at how much he chokes up on the bat !! :eek:

April 14th, 1914 Opening day at the Polo Grounds for the NY YANKEES vs the Athletics of Philly...A's Catcher Ira Thomas is doing the opening day honors for his club and MGR Frank Chance is representing the Yanks...

Next we have Ty Cobb at bat in Hilltop Park in 1912 just getting ready to swing...Note Highlanders catcher Ed Sweeny almost standing as if anticipating a bunt !! Tyrus hit .410 that season :eek:

Next we have the most famous 1909 Conlon photo of Ty Cobb sliding into third base !! Here we see Highlanders 3rd bagger Jimmy Austin getting his leg out of the way of the slide to avoid Cobb's filed spikes !! :eek:

What you don't see is that the ball thrown by the catcher went sailing past Jimmy as he was thrown on his face...

Here we have Yankees slugger Home Run Baker with his 2 daughters, Ottlie (L) and Janice (R) at the Polo Grounds in 1921...

Frank spent the entire 1920 season to be with his girls after the death of his wife...

And finally we have Pitcher Ray Caldwell's non-Pitching hand getting tended to by the trainer...Caldwell, who featured the spitball, pitched for the Highlanders from 1910-1918.

See the Yankee jacket Frank Chance is wearing? I noticed during my recent HOF visit those old team jackets were actually heavy, thick knit sweaters.

I love these old photos (glad you got your scanner ;) ).
