Hey Yankee scouts,

Here's a great chance to get a jump on say the 2008 season? Go check out Danny Almonte, (not sure of spelling), the kid who is pitching up a storm for the Rolando Paulino Little League from the BRONX ! This kid has already pitched a couple of no hitters and a perfect game or something to that effect on his way to getting his team into the Little League World Series going on right now in Williamsport, PA, out there in Moose country.

Maybe the Yankees should give this kid a couple of grand for tuition and tell him he has a job if and when he develops into a Major Leaguer. I'm sure hailing from the Bronx he's gotta be a Yankees fan.

The Kid is under age,and when he reaches 18 will be subject to the draft,unless he can move back to the Dominican Republic where he can sign when he`s 16.
The Yankees have class ,unlike the Dodgers who are famous for signing under age talent.
