View Full Version : Streak
Last year the Yankees lost 15 out of their last 18 games at the end of the season, the last 7 in a row.
What was the longest winning streak a Yankees team had ending a regular season that led to a world series?
What year was it?

Team went 99-52 beating the Dodgers in the World series.this streak i followed on a daily basis thru the Stars & Stripes.
Whitey Ford went 18-6, Eddie Lopat 16-4 ,Vic Raschi 13-6,Johnny Sain 14-7 Allie Reynolds 14-7.This was some pitching staff.:NY: :NY: :NY: :NY: :NY:
It was a Berra and Mantle team that finished with the most wins in a row going into the world series.
I don't see the correct answer yet.
