I think Slip asked for this - - -

Who's your All-Time "Hate" Team - meaning the team of all-time Yankee opponents that you hate, as a Yankee fan. What's yours? Below is mine, just thinking quickly. Remember - these are just personal choices.

C- Fisk
1B - Will Clark
2B - Davey Lopes (WS)
SS - Rey Ordonez (Inter-League)
3B- Boggs
LF - Devon White (I'm sticking him here)
CF - Griffey Jr.
RF- Kirk Gibson
SP - Pedro
RP - Beneitz

OF - Kenny Lofton
3B - George Brett
SS - Rick Burleson
2B - Jerry Remy

P - Bill Lee
RP - John Rocker

Actually, I suggested an All-Time rival team for various key days. Such as, the best opponents the Yankees faced in the AL in 1961.

But this is interesting. Who did I hate the most. Besides Gary Carter and the 1986 Mets?

Fisk, of course. Bill Lee. Brett. Bob Welch (Reggie in '78). Pete Rose without a doubt in 1976. Most of the Reds, and Joe Morgan.

Others, no doubt. I'll give it some thought. . .

The Indians of The Fifties
Just about everyone in the late 60`s Especially Baltimore
The Royals in the 70`s
The Red Sox & Blue Jays,A`s in the 80`s
The Blue Jays Indians & The Red Sox in the 90`s

Mike Caldwell (Brewers) comes to mind. As I recall, he liked to plunk Reggie and started a couple of memorable fights. Reggie usually just homered off him after a plunking.
