Smilies in the Titles

Is there a way to make smilies accessible in the Titles?

Oh I like it when we had smiles in the titles. I was wondering what happened to it just disappeared. It's been gone for a while now. Oh well. :(

We've never had the capability to put Smilies in the post titles.

I know what she means, when you could put a smilie next to your post title. If that makes sense (yeah, I know, sense from me?!?) :confused:

That was cute, but who can argue with the incredible number of ways we can smilie here?

Ohhhhh... the post icons that would show up *next* to the title...

Okay, I apologize for misunderstanding. Initially, when we converted software, I had to do away with the icons due to problems with the import of the old post. I planned to re-implement them as soon as most of the old posts had gone by the wayside, but didn't.

I don't know, I don't like them. They make the forum look like a circus, and I don't like it (personally). I understand the functionality of them, but there are an enormous amount of other smilies to add inside your post.

It seemed to take away from the crisp look of the boards.

If it turns out that a lot of people want them, I'll consider re-implementing them. For now, I think we'll go icon-less. :)

No, I don't miss them, mainly because of the large variety of smilies I can squeeze into the posts themselves! Hey, at least I haven't posted the Partridge Family (don't laugh, I have done it "elsewhere")! Hey, only me, right?!? And thank God, two of me would be more than the world could stand!
