View Full Version : Welcome to Gehrig - This Forum's New Moderator!
I would like to take a second to welcome Mitch (Gehrig) to our team of moderators, and to thank him for his willingness to help out. He has been a great contributor, and has shown amazing interest and enthusiasm for the extensive history of this team. Having a Yankees History Forum without Mitch as a moderator of it is like having a Hall Of Fame with no Pete Rose ;).
Thanks again Mitch!

Hey thanks to all and lets get the history flowing...Seahorse, That photo is AWESOME !!!!!!
I am waiting for a photo I just got on Ebay of the '27 Yanks in their Jackets !!!
Seahorse.......wow, what a photo....what is the history of it.....are those fleece lined Yankees jackets? Looks like the sun is shining and leaves still on trees....is there a story there?

Great. And thanks for your efforts. I think I suggested a History forum months ago; glad to see it here. So long as Pete Rose isn't allowed in I'm happy!
Speaking of history, Lou Boudreau died today. Strange, but I'm always surprised when a former baseball giant dies before the age of 100. They just seemed less mortal than the rest of us.

Jim -- makes perfect sense -- who else to moderate a history forum but one who uses the name of one of the most beloved Yankees in history!! Congrats Mitch!! I'm sure you'll be a great moderator!! :)
