19 tickets! With all the plans out there that has to be a ridiculous limit from someone with a sense of humor.

good chance theyre during the week and theres about 6-10 of them. i hope they at least announce them so we dont have to go searching for them like last year.

check the 11 game plan games. they seemed to be picked out of that group. Of course if you bought an 11 game plan with these games at full price: "Too bad, we're not making adjustments"

Last year they were called Party Suites, maybe they're booking that area differently this year?

It looks from the seatihg chart like it is one suite section (they call it "Party Suite, Section 67") in left field behind the Main level.
http://newyork.yankees.mlb.com/nyy/ballpark/seating_pricing.jsp
Edit: I looked again and there are more of those party suites in right field, so my original idea must be wrong. They wouldn't make that many suites available as a "party zone," would they?

If you have both a FS and a partial, do you get 2 pre-sale opps?
I would guess the answer is no unless they are in separate accounts.

According to this:

Suites #1 thru 7, and suite #67 are considered party suites. (Chart on bottom of page distinguishing which are which)

I thought that the entire Stadium was a party zone.
Anyway, there was mention of a Party Deck on the Terrace concourse awhile back.

It APPEARS (unconfirmed) that there will be only ONE pre-onsale for all licensees, regardless of plan type, which means full and 41's don't jump the line. It may be very hard to get extras this year. And another thing to notice, the sale starts at noon so plan your lunch break accordingly

Let me be clear, I'm all for the belief that seniority goes for relocation and upgrades. That being said, I think having one presale for STH is the way to do it. Just because someone can afford the Full Season doesn't mean they should get first dibs over someone who can only afford the 11 game pack and vice versa. This is a fair way of doing it.

You are right, that is the most fair, but it is also about managing the load on Ticketmaster's servers. If I can't get tickets to the game I want because I am waiting for TM, I will be a lot more upset than not getting great seats to the games I want because of 2 pre-sales.

yaneesrule...you are 100% right about the load on the TM servers...I've actually worked on evaluating order systems (not TM per se) and it can be a real big problem...
and what the Yankees in previous years, even though 2 separate pre-sales (full/41 and other STM), they had specific inventory for pre-sale 1 versus pre-sale 2...I know this for a fact as I tried to get some tickets/games for pre-sale 1 and couldn't find anything reasonable...then remember reading posts of people of pre-sale 2 and got exactly what I was looking for...and by all means, I'm not complaining about it and didn't last year...
A lot in this overall Yankee process is definitely about luck and timing...I know the Yankees don't necessarily disclose what they are doing/how they are doing things...and that's a separate problem in and of itself...just all in all, having 2 separate pre-sales for reasons above isn't necessarily contrary to all STH best interests, regardless of 11 game plan or 81 game plan or somewhere in between...my 2 cents...
I'll just login (or try to) at noon on Monday...and hope for the best...I don't expect anything...but if something good comes up...I will take it and feel lucky...

Just confirmed that there is only one presale for all licensees. Existing Full, 41's, and partials all got the email notice this morning. Only question left is if new 2010 accounts are getting it. Anyone?
Anyone know which games they are "designating" for the pre sale? Maybe they will exclude premium games?

Agreed. Everyone knows those games ate are cheaper and we're not some team. That needs to have perk like that in order to sell tickets.
I'm all for a free for all so to speak with ticket plan holders but minor league plans shouldn't get someone a Yankees presale. I'm sure the general public in say NY, NJ, or CT doesn't like knowing that Scranton Yanks ticket holders get tickets before them.

I have an SI Yankee fan along with the Yankee ticket plan (I highly recommend getting a plan- sit close and unlimited food with the seats for $15? Can't go wrong there..), and so far I haven't seen an email from the SI Yanks yet, however on the perks for pinstripe plan ticket holders this year is access to the pre-sale:
http://web.minorleaguebaseball.com/tickets/page.jsp?ymd=20090804&content_id=6241822&vkey=tickets_t586&fext=.jsp&sid=t586
I can tell you right now though that the reason they have that pre-sale is so the Minor League teams sell seats- their budgets aren't nearly as high and I know many people with plans just because of the presale. Whether that is right or not, that's a different story. Personally I have never used the SI Yankee pre-sale password because I have the NY Yankee one.

I already got a good amount of games in my 20.2 plan. Not gonna go for broke like I did last year.
I avoid Boston games like the plague. Too many jerk Red Sox fans to deal with. I do, however, sell any Red Sox games in my plan at a sizeable profit to people around here who can't get tickets at Fenway.
(BTW, just in case any of you don't know this, for the average Red Sox fan, getting tickets at Fenway is like finding the Ark of the Covenant. I know high school and college-age kids who have never been there because of ticket availability and who hope to go there someday in their pitiful lives.)

It goes both ways really, if the Yankees are winning than the Yankees fan rides the Red Sox fan and vice versa. I enjoy them because normally they mean something, thats why Im going for the last game, it should be a huge series. And about getting tickets for Fenway, a friend of mine whos a red sox fan said that if you get there early or stay over near the ticket window, they release like 5,000 tickets or something like that every game

12. Astros Fri June 11th Mariano Rivera figurine night.
Not expecting to get these all but this is the order I will be trying for tickets. Will be having computer, laptop, and blackberry going at once. Does anyone know if I can use my aol browswer and also internet explorer at the same time on a computer?
I used both Internet Explorer and Firefox on the same computer for Yankees/Mariners tickets through ticketmaster on Saturday and it worked.

Maybe people complained about the 10 am, or maybe TM was having another big sale at 10 am and didn't want to jam the servers even more. I'm expecting a crapload of waiting time messages starting at about 10:02 am. If you don't have 2 games in hand by then it's going to be a long lunch break

Is anyone sure running IE and FF at the same time won't lock you out? All I need is a 10 minute lockout for trying something different.
As for new plan holders, I don't THINK they get a crack. When I first bought my plan (2005/2006), I contacted the office when I didn't receive my pre-sale password. I was told that I was exempt because I was a newbie. But I WOULD have access to playoff pre-sales.

I'm actually also hoping the passwords work. I remember a couple years back the password I got didn't even work and I couldn't get through to the Yankees to figure out what went wrong. When they finally told me there was an error with the password and ticketmaster it was too late.

YES!!! Field 107- Opening Day!!! this was AFTER it said they had nothing together at the $90 level. I tried again and these two came up. Adjoining seats in Row 26... out of the rain as well... if there is any!
didn't even try for other games yet. My 11 is usually fine and I get a call or two from friends that I can get to go to others. If I feel like going to another, I'll check the site or stubscalp.

Relax- I had a similar issue last yer for the playoffs. I wound up getting 2 seats for Game 1 AND Game 2 of the LDS when I was "entitled" to only one game in each series. A small fish in Big Pond may get through the cracks. I was worried as well, but I think they're more concerned with the guys who are trying to buy BLOCKS of tickets and abusing the system.

Just got 4 for ech of the Mets games searching best available and obstructed view. Section 104 row 12 which i think are 2nd row, 107 row 14, and 107 row 21. They came up fast so I am guessing there are more.:)
I have been searching the boston games and old timers games and they also still have availbale the obstructed view seats. Im not sure what is obstructed view in section 104 row 12-14 but they are coming up for every game. I believe its the camera man. I don't want to spend $90 or $125 for those games but if anyone does just throwing the info out there.

Doubt it. I think they'll release more for the public, but I think this is it. They need to make more available to the general public than ticket holders, which is fine. I'll be ready once again.
When is it? This Friday?

Got:
Friday Mets 6/18 in Audi
Boston
May 17, 8/6, 8/9, 9/24, 9/26 all in Audi.
Now I get to sell my Mets/Boston tickets on the field for face to my friends who buy a few games, and I still get to go too. (and get a great meal.)
Any ideas when Champions go on sale? I was hoping to sit up close for Old Timers Day, and enjoy the Lobster Rolls.

It all depends what they reserved for it, there might be quite a bit. I wouldn't be surprised that if you showed up right at the start fully prepared you would get whatever game you tried for, but that your second choice would be long gone a few seconds later

Actually Audi is above the Main level, underneath the 300 level. Its the left field section of the luxury box level (same height as TV,radio booth, etc)
Meal is amazing. It cost $$, but its unlimited. And I have had great Sushi, a carving station, and amazing sandwiches, breads and desserts while there. It seems more like a lounge than being at the stadium, but makes for a great date night/meal. You miss the crowd noise, but the view is pretty good.

What's the cheapest ticket option that will get you in the park and have access to the audi club all-you-can-eat buffet?
I ask because I'm thoroughly confused about how it works. You can add an audi membership to your plan but apparently that only gets you in the door and nothing else. If you have a pass to get in, how much is food? But then I see on ticketmaster audi seats are $140, does that include food?

$140 for the ticket includes a seat with view, food and non-alcholic bevarages. If you have a pass along with a regular ticket its $65 for the food at a table with no view of field.
so pretty much the cheapest option would be $5 (bleacher seat) + $12 (audi pass) + $65 (buffet) = $82 without tip, tax, charges and alcohol
