I posted this over at the Yankee forum as well- Watch the game on TV without the lag of listening to the radio instead.
On your cable system- Find "Fox Sports en Espanol". The listing will read something like "Serie Mundial". No over the top gushing about this or that. They actually SHUT UP to let plays develop. After about 5 minutes you don't even realize it's in Spanish. The interviews with Latino players don't need subtitles or interpreters because they all say the same thing that English speaking players will say: "They have a good team over there, we have to play our game one game at a time, etc..."
All of the on-screen graphics are in English, since it is actually a "World Feed" that FOXESP is using, NOT the Fox feed, so there are fewer ZOOM replays, no strike trax, iso's on Kate, etc. It's almost like watching a game back in the 70's or 80's when there were 2 or 3 cameras. Keep Fox on the "prev" channel button if you want to see endless replays and that stuff, but just go back when they are done beating that dead horse.
Even with my limited High School Spanish, baseball is baseball in any language. You KNOW what they're saying even if you can't understand them.
As an added bonus, some of the commercials are mucho mas caliente than US versions... ;^)
