Why? If we just give him Legends Suites for free, he'll get a free all you can eat meal anyway =)
I could use 3 inexpensive seats down near the field.
I'm a pretty good guy. Any help would be appreciated.

With the secondary market high as a kite, broke isn't the word that'll get you tickets.

Unlike the rest of the posters in this thread, I'm looking for two free tickets to Game 6 or 7 of the World Series.
Tickets must be within the first 4 rows from the field, and I will need a car service arranged to and from the stadium, from central NJ.
I'll also need some spending money (or a credit card) to order food, beer, and a bottle of Dom Perignon.
Please message me if you have anything available.

To all the broke college kids: get a job and earn the money for tickets. I was just out of college in 1986 and I was working three jobs to put myself through school. In order to go to a 1986 World Series game, I had to work 12 hour days to make enough money for tickets. To get through college I worked 7 days a week to pay my tuition and still managed to graduate college in 4 1/2 years.
Please stop begging, groveling and whining. Everyone would love a free ticket to a World Series game. Why not ask for a free BMW or Mercedes to drive too? No one hands you anything in this life. Work for it like a man and stop begging, its unbecoming.
Everything I have in this life (and most others on here as well) was earned through breaking out colelctive asses. When I took my first job, I never worked an 8 hour day. In fact most days were 12 -14 hours and a "short day" for me was 9 or 10 hours.
You really need to get with the idea that no one owes you anything. By the way, I now employ or have employed a lot of you under 30 who seem to think 9 to 5 means 9:20 or 9:30 to 4:35 ot 4:45. get some personal responsibility.

When I was in college, I bought full season tickets with my first credit card (granted it took me months to pay it off), but boy were they worth it and still are.

On eBay from a seller with a 59 feedback score has two in 322A listed for $1000 total:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260501610514
This is about half of the base price (not including fees) that Jim Beam seats are going for on StubHub.

Good luck with that. You might be able to do $450 each but don't hold your breath for $450 for two.

Didnt mean to have a cow. Alot of guys emailed me offering $50 per pair for two $125 each field seats during the season and then in the ALCS was offered $20, $50 and $75 for two field box seats with a face of $191. In the emails I got the "I am a college kid, out of work recent grad, fill in the blank sob story.
It just grates on me. There are plenty of tickets on EBAY, Stubhub and other sites where they can get a ticket for a fair price. There is no lack of competition so the prices are actually reasonable.

I agree. I get annoyed at those that try to take advantage like that. During the season, if there were tickets I couldn't sell (not very many of them, but a few) I would donate them to a charity that could take them at the last minute rather than let someone have them for $10. It works both ways. If you ask too much, you don't make the sale, but if you offer too little, you may not make the purchase either.
