If anyone is interested, I am going to move all my Saturday and Sunday games for next year at face value and in packages. I have four tickets together.

The Saturday package will include all Saturday games and will include an extra midweek game.

The Sunday package will include all Sunday games.

There will be a huge bonus if you buy all the games and I have money in hand before the World Series begins.

My seats are in the Jim Beam Suite right behind home plate - section 320A, row 3.

I know what the price will be for next year already. If interested, please email me at snooplives44@gmail.com.

Thanks and go Yankees.

How do you know what the price will be next year? Contract price? The Yankees announced that they aren't raising prices, so my guess is that the automatic increase that was in the contract will not be charged. Do you have information to the contrary?

Hey Ram - I'm in a contract so I'm guaranteed a maximum increase of 4.5%. If the Yankees don't raise the prices, I don't either, but I can't imagine they won't hold me to my contract price, especially given the Jim Beam Suite seats were the first premium section to sell out and still have a waiting list. Plus you can only buy them full season so this is a great way to get partial plan access to one of the better views in the stadium.

They offer a great view, great value compared to the other premium sections, and the exclusive access to the Suite Lounge. Don't know if you've been in there, but the lounge offers private restrooms, great food offerings (burger is exceptional and the brick oven pizza is surprisingly good stadium pizza), and a full bar with more than just beer. Plus it's a great haven during rain delays. I don't hang out at the bar because I love the view from the seats, but if that's your thing....

Lastly, I might as well tell the special bonus because I've received a few emails. Anyone who buys all four tickets for all 27 games will get the option to buy, at face value, tickets to Game 2 of the 2009 World Series in the same seats at face value, should the Yankees make it.

I think it's a great deal. Weekend access without the full commitment to a full-season. Let me know.

I'm skeptical of the waiting list. The Yankees hyped them up last year, told me at one time they were "oversubscribed" but then came back a month or so later saying there were some seats available. I bit and am now seriously wondering if that was a good idea. Anyone who is on a waiting list for these seats at the prices charged last year is not the brightest bulb on the tree in my opinion.

I have a pair in the Jim Beam section too and the resale for them was terrible except for the premium games. The buying public puts no premium on the lounge access or any of the other stuff they hyped. I'm just glad I didn't pay extra to be in rows 1-4, especially row 1.

I'm hoping they do away with the whole suite concept for these seats, either open up the lounge to everyone or convert it to some kind of food court and then adjust the seat prices accordingly. There are a thread or two in "Out of Play" that discuss this.

I had heard from another season ticket holder that the Yankees were going to make the Jim Beam Lounge similar to the Mohegan and Audi. I've also seen some literature for 2010 Yankees Premium that makes no mention of the JB or Terrace in "Yankees Premium". I decided to call my ticket rep today and they said nothing is changing and they are basically staying the same for next year. That does make sense to me based on the so-called waiting list and the fact that everyone is locked in for two years. I think the JB does provide some value as mentioned in my prior post. I do think the 1st row seats are way overpriced plus you have to look through that plate glass which would annoy me. All in all though, I love the view from the third row and will keep the seats for as long as I live.
