Sublett 4-5, 2B
Going into today, he's 4th in the FSL in OBP.
Krum just hit his second homerun of the year. He also tripled earlier. 2-4.
Thunder just lost though. 2 games back

Rob, whats your opinion of D-Mack? Impressive season but is there enough there (tools wise) to hold down a corner OF position in the big leagues?

Other than Medchill and maybe Heathcott did we draft and sign any real power prospects? I know Luke Murton, but I don't think he's really a legit prospects right now.

I like D-Mack one of the few guys I am taller then lol. He has power, alot of power with average or a lil above average speed. He has a pretty good arm and I think he will be able to be a RF in the majors. I am transcribing the interview with the same scout on D-Mack and I plan on talking to him before the season is done.

BTW, what's his "official" height? He probably not really 5'10" is he?

I always considered myself 5-10 and he seems a little bit short then me, not by much. Then again I could be 5-11 and not know it, I havent measured in a few years.

Sublett 4-5, 2B
Going into today, he's 4th in the FSL in OBP.IMO, he has been our 2nd best position player this season. His walks and Isolated power in the FSL have been eye opening.

I think he is vastly underrated on these boards, but that's a bit extreme. You would rank him as having the next best season after Montero?
Still really like Sublett as a prospect though. I thought he would have a good second half and he has certainly delivered. He'll need to continue to play well though as he moves us the system. He turns 24 in September, so he is no spring chicken, but his approach is certainly advanced enough where he could handle the upper levels.

I wouldnt rank him as the 2nd best position prospect but I feel that he has had the 2nd best season as a position player. Upwards of the Sally League.
All the while learning new positions on the fly.

I like Sublett as well but there may be 10 position players who are having better seasons than he is. A player his age definitely belongs in AA and if he isn't then I would expect these stats. Sorry, just not seeing him as the second best hitting prospect this year.

10 prospects? I need to see that list.
I can think of 3 but no more than that.
I do not feel the same way but I can see MAYBE 10 (and I disagree on a majority) of what you are thinking. Definitely not more. Cervelli? Definitely not.
I'll guess Russo, A-Jax, Laird, Adams, Brewer, Mesa, Montero, Romine, Joseph, Pirela. I don't know what you're thinking though.

Eduardo Nuņez: 2 for 4 with a HR, his 9th.
Manuel Baņuelos (in relief): 2.0 IP 1 H 0 R 0 ER 0 BB 4 K | 1-1 GB/FB ratio.
and Luis Sojo is a coach on the team,

Montero, Jackson, Brewer, Romine, Nunez, Adams, Miranda, Russo, Joseph, Pirela, A. Almonte. Plus there are some guys on Staten Island that are having nice offensive years but I didn't want to put short season guys on the list. Again, I like Sublett but not nearly as much as you do.

Thats fair enough, dude.
Nice to see Romine get the FSL player of the year by MILB.

Braves Prospect Julio Teheran is throwing a no-no against the RiverDogs through 7.
Edit: Teheran was just removed. Dogs still 0-0, going into the top of the 8th.
Brackman relieved Arbiso, and was 1IP, 1H, 2GO, 1AO.
Oops, wrong thread. However, see you guys have it covered in the Sept. thread.
