More than 110. Which is why I can't understand why exactly he's drawing so much criticism.

Especially with Damon back in front of him and Jeter hitting .300+ since June 1st, coupled with Pudge and Christian/Melky being the 8/9 hitters, he'll have plenty of chances.

He's drawing criticism because RBIs are a poor way to judge a hitter. They are far too dependent on a player's teammates and luck. The important statistics, OBP, Slugging, VORP, WARP3, say he is on the decline.

I like Abreu and if he accepts arbitration I'll happily take him back in 2009. I just don't want the Yanks signing him long term and by long term I mean more than a one year deal. Despite the RBIs as dkman points out most stats point towards Abreu being a player in the decline phase of his career. That said, even a declining Abreu can be a good and productive player, you just don't want to be locked into a player like that beyond year to year deals is all I'm saying.
