According to Ken Rosenthal (http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/8397286/Latest-news-and-rumors-from-around-MLB), the Yankees are "kicking around" Paul Byrd as an option. Names have yet to be exchanged.

Byrd reminds me a creepy serial killer. Again, is this much of an upgrade over Rasner or Ponson?

I actually would rather Byrd for the rest of this year than Washburn for this year AND next. If Cash thinks Byrd is an upgrade over Ponson (as I am sure he is) then I have no problem with this.

I actually would rather Byrd for the rest of this year than Washburn for this year AND next. If Cash thinks Byrd is an upgrade over Ponson (as I am sure he is) then I have no problem with this.

You would prefer a pretty bad pitcher to a league average innings eater?

Also the fact that Rasner has had 2 straight good starts and Kennedy is pitching well in AAA should make them realize how stupid they have acted.

My grandma is an upgrade over Ponson. Rasner is not that bad, stop bashing him.
