Jim - I've been doing my job clicking on sponsor's ads but I've noticed that some sponsors ads disappear quickly. When I go into a subject it's there. I go in to read the post, and when I come out of the post it's gone, and I can't find it again. Are some of these things catch as catch can?

The ads rotate every time you load a page. The ad company will have 100 ads, and they are in constant rotation. Some are in more of a heavy rotation than others, it depends on the company who is buying the advertising.

hey Jim,
I also have been clicking on the ads. I find some of them rather interesting. This might sound dump, but what are SQl, PHP, Apache, and the programming republic? I know that they are banners, but are they software banners of what you use for this server?

Another note, I tried yankeedave.com and an error came up?

Those are the programming languages and server software that I'm running.

The ads that I get paid for are in the ones in the forums. There are some others scattered throughout the site, but I don't get paid for you going to Yankeedave.com. We just did a link-exchange. The ads that I get paid for are the ones that are annoying, and flashy, and from big companies.

If yankeedave's site, didn't work, I can't do anything about that.

If you click on an ad, wait for it to load, and then press your "back" button as soon as it's done, does that count? That's how I've been clicking them...
