The disbanding of the team doesn't look that bad, as they are just going to build a new team with a lot of the same players. What hit me was that these guys can't even train and play in their own country, in front of their own fans... I guess that's just the way things are over there, but it still sucks.

Because of all the Iraqi war conflict, the Iraqi national soccer team play their matches somewhere else like in Dubai.
