Im torn between the game and a police standoff going on in Buffalo. I-190 is shut down both directions as apparently a domestic dispute between two out of towners has resulted in a woman escaping and reaching police and the guy holding the gun to his head.

Of course its on all the local channels.

The word on Garza is that he falls behind a lot of hitters. Havent really seen that yet.

I guess its b/c he can't command his breaking pitches which might explain the 40+ FB's he's thrown so far and his easy success against us thus far.

Apparently they didn't get the message. Doesn't help when you have 1 on no outs and your ice clod #8 hitter coming to the plate, and you just let him swing away. Yeesh. Get something going Joe.

thats a nice game plan. go the first trip through the order throwing two seamers over the plate and hope the yanks just hit into outs.

Next trip through the order, start mixing in the secondary stuff.

can molina bunt well. there's more to it than just playing scenarios like that. you can't aska a batter to bunt a guy over in the third inning of a one run game if he's no good at laying bunts down.
