Lets go Yankees put some runs on the board early and make it an easy night.

Question: Why didnīt Mo pitch the 9th yesterday? Was it because we had a 4 run lead in which I like that decision very much.

Question: Why didnīt Mo pitch the 9th yesterday? Was it because we had a 4 run lead ...Actually, we had a five run lead to start the ninth, so that was why it was entrusted to Farnsworth. After he gave up the homer to Pierzynski, Mo was seen warming up, but Farnsworth managed to get two more outs before another run scored.

Sometimes I wonder why the SS evens makes a throw on a play like that? Too easy to throw it away and you're not throwing out Melky unless he fell down running out the play.
