Girardi has people reading this board.
I'm figuring he must've tweaked something unless someone knows otherwise. The beginning of the season hasn't been kind to us when it comes to minor injuries, with Pettitte, Giambi, Jeter, Posada, and now probably Posada again.

It's nice to see a team go for the extra base and attempt to steal bags.
Wish the Yankees would do this once in awhile.
How many times is Cone going to say "back in the day" today? O/U?

You have to have those kind of players to do that. Yanks have good baserunners but not really fast guys.

This ump is calling some strikes that weren't strikes for Hughes/Ross. Not all of them, but enough to affect ABs.
Bannister had the same strike zone.
Mike Franscesca better get on Nunez too.
What is he saying about Hughes? Im guessing it will make me want to punch a wall.

wow...Thats the 2nd time I've seen Nunez this season and he never failed to disappoint.
His stuff is filthy and has 3 plus pitches.
Yeah, the Royals got a good one there. He's been lights out... If he and Soria can nail down their bullpen, they could win 80 games. I don't think their rotation is ready to help them contend yet, but they're dangerous.

I feel like every AL team is dangerous these days. I want to petition for the Yankees to transfer to the JV league.
And 1-2-3 innings continue to elude Yankee pitchers. Inside, I weep.

There are players who don't run things out, etc, don't give 100% effort, but I think they're few and far between and the "plays the game the right way" thing is way, way overused.

Not hustling to first, not hustling for balls in the outfield, basically not hustling gets the playing the wrong way label.
