I will definitely be watching the game.

Is there another all star game going to be on T.V.? I thought Brett Jodie was supposed to be on an All Star team, and might have even been the starter.

There's an AAA All-Star game, and I believe that's on Wednesday.

I saw....how about that slide though? :eek:

Some are wondering why he has so many strikeouts down in AAA....hitters that walk a lot, like Johnson does, are bound to get into a lot of 3-2 counts, and thus there more likely to get rung up than a guy who swings at the 1st or 2nd pitch.

Johnson is not a slow baserunner for a 1B and that slide was very nifty.

At the plate, he wasn't jumpy at all and didn't offer at any borderline pitch at all (no check swing). That's a trait of guys with great batting eyes and knowledge of what they are looking for (Edgar Martinez, John Olerud, Bernie, Giambi, Sheffield, etc.).
