Probably a wise decision but it will also slow down his progress into the season. As for the bloke who arranged the Yankees schedule for April, he/she should be taken out into the street and beaten like a dog.

Good evening everyone.

Let's hope the offense can hit McGowan tonight. Burnett pitched a great game last night, can't take that away from him.

With Hughes on the mound, I hope he can have a solid outting, and run support at that.

I'm going to be leaving soon, going out to dinner with my parents. Nothing major, just the diner. I'll probably get soup and a Cheeseburger w/ Fries :drool:

I'm not positive what Andy's situation is. If he can pitch, then I'd say that's probably what they'll do, but either way it's fine imo.

Cano grounds into a force at 2nd, but eats out the throw and is safe at 1st.

I don't like how a couple of players have been swinging at the 1st pitch they see throughout this series.

Let's see what Matsui can do here with Cano on 1st with 2 Outs.

Hughes has looked great so far. Just a walk from the offense, but it's the bottom of the 2nd so we still have plenty of time.

EDIT: Paul O'Neil just told the world the answer. the pitching...

A pitcher with his good stuff will neutralize even the best offenses. It's very difficult to beat a very good defense (in this case good pitching) when it's working.
