Very classy for the Indians to wear 14 in honor of Larry Doby. There was a documentary about Doby and the Negro Leagues a few weeks ago, and I realized how truly inspirational and important he was. This is a wonderful way to honor his contribution to the game.
Still, I want the Yanks to beat the crap out of the Indians tonight.

This game will be so tough, Carmona is probably the best pitcher we have seen so far this year.

boston and detroit both losing.
Phil ends the inning with a K. 25 pitches though.
They started at 7pm too?

This is the dumbest commercial I've ever heard--borderline racist, you ask meWhat?
Well, that wasn't a good inning, but we can see what Hughes is going to bring to the table down the road. I hope he can keep it close and go into the 6th inning, but if he has more innings like that he won't pitch 5.
Booooooooooooooooooooob

Thats the first time I've seen Hughes throw a slider as a Yankee....he should use it more
He threw it earlier in the game. But I agree, this is the first start where I've seen him use it in the majors and it's a good pitch.

I'm following this game on MLB gamecast and some of the spots they are showing the pitches makes it look like this umpire is very inconsistent... or is that because gamecast is not very accurate?
