If we get Edwar up here, we'd have 3 very good RP to share the 7th/8th, and no one gets over worked. Mo for the 9th. Then farnsworth, villone, brower/bruney/britton for the junk innings.

Part of me wants to see him in the 8th....but if he goes 2 innings, he will likely wont be able to pitch the rest of the weekend.

Hey, Farnsworth, thats what you call a 1-2-3 inning.
Thats the goal, buddy!!
In two games, Joba has 20% of Farnsworth's total 1-2-3's on the year.

If we toss in Wang we could probably get Ross Gload, too.

Any ideas what kind of guidelines they're going to use for Joba? I would think they would rather he pitch 2 innings every few days then 1 inning in back to back games.

Joba threw a changeup this outing. A pretty good one. It just missed the plate by a little.

I worry about young pitchers who use their slider this much.
He used just one slider that inning.
Btw just so you know, Joba didnīt start pitching until his last year in high school, so his arm is relative fresh...

walking A-Rod. nice, too bad for them it's Matsui the Monsta up next. he's going to get that runner home, as long as he doesn't try to pull a low outside pitch and ground into another DP
