I personally dont believe in swinging 3-0. Make the pitcher show you he can throw a strike. Take the walk if he cant get the ball over the plate. Its one my baseball pet peeves along with doing a hit and run on a 3-1 count.

The Yankees are en fuego. I've just been fortunate to start GT's when they're playing less than stellar teams. Besides, tomorrow night is our anniversary. For some odd reason, it takes precedence.

This is his last start even if Hughes does start in Scranton on Sunday. The off day on Monday allows us to skip Igawa. Hughes will probably slide in and start the August 4th game against KC.
