There are eight days to the trade deadline, and it looks likely that the Yankees will not be sellers. If the Yankees think that Phil Hughes is the best pitcher available, they may play pat, figuring getting Phil back is like a blockbuster trade in terms of potential effect. I can't imagine anyone who will tempt them to move one of the budding gems.
