If we win tonight, we will pick up a game in either the division or in the wild card, as Cleveland and Boston face off.
This is a much needed win to get back towards .500, as the pitching matchups should help awaken our offense.

I think Tim McClelland is really good. He rarely seems to make bad calls, and he's one of a select few who actually seek to cool things down when someone is arguing with them, rather than looking for an argument. He usually wins the "Best Umpire" section of the Player Awards Voting thing they do for Sports Illustrated, too, so the players seem to think he's good as well.

I'm reading "Internet Forum Moderating for Dummies" now.
Good book, but the character development is fairly weak and there are a few rather large plotholes.

I can't help but think about the Twins last year. We just need to start playing well and let the rest happen. At this point, we don't have that much to lose (except about 100 baseball games :P).
Exactly. I've seen the Braves do this a few times, the Yankees a few times, the Twins and the A's do it as well.
But it needs to start soon.

I know morale has probably not been the highest in thr world lately, but we just need to slowly take our time with this. Things (hopefully) will be ok and the team will be back in the race.
