You want news, we got news.
Jeff Karstens will be activated off the DL and start against the Red Sox on Saturday.
Chase Wright will start against the Red Sox on Sunday. Just spoke with Chase for the first time. He looks and talks like Matthew McConaughey, Kind of like a “Time to Kill” McConaughey. We asked him about starting Sunday and he kind of smiled and said, “Well, allllllright. Good deal.”
Now onto Mike Mussina. The Moose is going to try it off the mound again tomorrow. He said he also thinks pitching 3 or 4 innings in a minor-league game at some point wouldn’t be a bad idea. “I don’t normally like to waste pitches but I knowing where they’re going, too,” he said.
Here is the plan for Hideki Matsui:
Thursday: Hard workout.
Friday: Class A game.
Saturday: Class A game
Sunday: Extended spring game or simulated game
Monday: Play left for the Yankees against Tampa.
Here is the plan for Chien-Ming Wang:
Thursday: Pitch in Class A game.
Sunday: Bullpen
Tuesday: Start for the Yankees against Tampa Bay.

Good evening everyone. ESPN2 has the game blocked for me, so I have the radio on and I'm ready for the game.
We need a good outing from Igawa, and I hope the offense can knock around Sowers like they did last night to Westbrook.
With that said, Go Yankees! :NY:

All right, place your bets on when A-Rod hits a HR. 1st inning? 2nd? 5th? 8th?
Soriambi
04-18-07, 06:12 PM
Hafner pops it to shallow center, and Damon, playing deep because he's Travis Hafner, doesn't get the best read on it and can't get to it. Base hit. Tough luck. I hope Damon is okay, as he hit the ground very hard diving for it.
All right, place your bets on when A-Rod hits a HR. 1st inning? 2nd? 5th? 8th?
