yeah it is. unfortunately.that is just what jeter does, for a normal guy, yes it was, but jeter always does that check swing thing,
whatever
we know arod will come up with the bases loaded and all the pressure.
Well, at least Derek doesn't make the last out! :)

The ARod bashing (from Yankees fans:( ) has got to stop. And in order for it to stop, it has to stop somewhere first. So (and please do not misunderstand me: this is not a threat, it's not me playing Big Brother, and it's not something I like doing) I am going to start strictly enforcing CS regarding player bashing in here. Starting now.
Don't make me be the heavy, but at the same time, don't think that it won't happen to you.

yea, my reasoning is that bad. whatever dude. this happens all the time with arod. he will come through one time out of 10 when it's needed and everyone thinks he's "earned his stripes". i'm glad he helped the team win today, but let's see what happens tomorrow.
35 homers, 121 RBI ain't good enough for you, eh? Whatever. And it's dudette just for the record. I'm done. Have a nice day.

i see it now. these aren't my forums, so i'll follow your rules, but i do think it's pretty ridiculous we can't talk openly about how we feel about certain players on the team. oh well...let's go yankees!!!!!!!!!!

I appreciate it. Thanks. And it was not aimed at only you, or only posters in this game.

You're not being the heavy here. You are doing exactly the right thing. This is baseball not war. And the Yankees are our team and we support them (all of them) through thick and thin.
Okay, okay, maybe it is war when the Red Sox are playing but otherwise....

I had to go to work at 4 this afternoon, so I couldn't see the end of the game...live. Luckily I have a DVR, so I recorded the rest of the game. I just got home and watched the 9th inning, and that was just incredible!!! WTG Arod!
I had a feeling that the Yankees would come back and win after the Giambi 3-run shot. I just felt it for some reason.

I left my house, and this thread, when the score was 7-3 O's.
I come home to find out the Yankees wound up winning, and A-Rod got a [needed] Grand Slam to win the game, not to mention Giambi's 3 run HR.
Good job by the Yankees today, well, later on in the game. :NY:

Tifoso is laying down the law . and Also what does CS mean?? And for the record I'm a big A-rod fan. However I was sad we got him since we traded my favorite player to get him. But its all good now.

Thanks. That makes sense now. However I dont think what he said was bad. He just said that He thinks we would be better off with A-rod and stating his opinion. Nothing bad IMO but i'm not a mod so they have thier reasons. I hope to follow the CS because this is a great site for all yankee related stuff.
