I know this is going to sound stupid, but for whatever reason, I can take the cold game nights when they're in the FALL, but I can't stand them in the spring..... (You'd think it'd make more sense the other way around.)
I've been at a few cold fall night/playoff games, and survived it. Maybe the excitement kept me heated? :)
That be it. I feel the same way. Went to that 1pm day game ALDS game 1 against the Twinks ('03 I think), had to be about 75 degrees and sunny, but it just did not feel right for October playoff baseball. Tonight and tomorrow are just ridiculous.

This looks just like a second game of the season played in 30 degree weather is going to look like.
I wish the Yanks opened up on the road in CA every year. First, it's nice weather, and second, it's one west coast road trip out of the way early in the year. It seems like a no brainer to me.
