Hi. I just signed up today! I love site! I look forward to talking baseball with you.
A little bit about me. I'm from Utah. A life long Yankee fan. My friend and myself are currently trying to see all the ballparks. We just got back from Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. It was great to be in the house Ruth Built. The experance was great!

A friend of mine did a ballpark tour with her husband and got to go to both Detroit and Pittsburgh before they closed their doors on the old ball parks...it's a great idea....I'm definitely going to try that some day!!
Glad you loved the Stadium and I'll be interested to hear your overall assessment once your tour is completed....how did the Stadium and its aura rank up there in your opinion...

I would be Dan of the Dan and Tim tour.
The Stadium was everything I thought it would be! The hole time I was at Yankee stadium I though about all the baseball history that had taken place there. It was great I enjoyed the stadium and the game.
I have to say I was a little disappointed in the Yankee fans. They never got into the game and 1/2 of them left in the 8th inning because the Yankees were down to the Braves. I would expect this at a ballpark in LA, but not at Yankee Stadium. I always believed that New York fans were the best fans, but after this I have some doubt to that claim (after being to some other stadiums on the West Coast and East Coast). I come from Utah. We have a triple AAA team and the fans that go to the games have no idea how to cheer for the team, but they do stay until the last pitch. I hate it when people leave early! That would be my only criticism of Yankee Stadium.

This July 21st will be my first time inside the hallowed grounds of
the Great Yankee Stadium!!! And Im looking forward to it! I plan to
add my screams & yells to rest of the Yankee Crowd & forummers
that will be there that day!!!!!

Was it at a weekday game at the stadium? Just curious. :) BTW I Never leave the game early.

Welcome aboard! I, too have aspirations of seeing all the ballparks eventually. I've been to 7, one more coming up the end of July. I love my annual trek to Friendly Fenway (I'm a Sox fan), but overall Camden Yards is my fave so far.

Dan, first of all welcome to the site. I know we're glad to have you and I for one would be very interested in stories from your tour - it sounds like such a cool thing to do. Second I gotta ask, you guys aren't the ones they show in the visa commercial are you? They show these two young men in a at Fenway who are also doing a stadium tour, vintage hat, seats next to green monster, etc. If you are that's pretty neat too.
